ABOUT
Niloo Inalouei was born in Tehran, Iran, and currently lives in Tkaronto, Turtle Island, Canada. Her interdisciplinary practice examines politics of space and bodies in relation to diasporic identities. Her creative work explores how power structures and cultural narratives intertwine to shape both individual and collective experiences. Central to her research is the concept of "home"—how it is constructed, experienced, challenged, negotiated, and reimagined within the context of diaspora. Niloo holds a BFA from OCAD University and an MFA from York University. She currently teaches in the Faculty of Art at OCAD University.
